My best Bino Setup solution for C8 Edege HD and C11A

BINOCULAR SETUP, C8EdgeHD and C11A
Comparing two types of setups for both telescopes, with a Baader Planetarium Maxbright II.
Setup A is the one that allows the shortest optical path for use of a turret with a SC. This means, for both instruments:
- Shorter equivalent focal length
- Lower magnification with the same pair of eyepieces
- Significantly greater field of view

In both cases, we have setup lengths close to optimal backfocus values.
For the C8 Edge HD, in particular, the maximum respect for the ideal back focus is achieved in order not to lose much resulting apparent diameter. In this case the loss is minimal.
Setup A includes:
- Maxbright II modular turret (baader Planetarium)
- Baader Prism Diagonal T-2/90 ° 32mm # 2456005
- Baader SC / HD Ultra Short T-Adapter, 9mm optical length
# 2958500B
- Baader TQC / TCR Heavy duty T-2 Quick Changing System (T-2 part # 06A & # 07) T-2 PART #: 06A + 07
# 2456322
This is the shortest setup on the market, or one of the shortest.
Setup B includes:
- Maxbright II modular turret (baader Planetarium)
- Baader Prism Diagonal T-2/90 ° 32mm # 2456005
- 2 "/ T-2 Nose Piece and Camera adapter BP2408150 / 30
- Baader Click Lock 2 "SC

hi Fedele,

Awesome setup, I have copied your setup with my 8edge HD and its fanominal.

I was wondering if you know how to de-attach the SCT-T Adapter Ultrashort T-2 from the T-2 Quick changer. I can't get it to separate for the life of me :(

kind regards

Yusuf :)
