North Bristol / Frenchay area hot observing spots

Hi there

I spend a night a week in this area in near UWE in North Bristiol. Is it worth making the 1hr trek to Abergavanny or Cotswolds or Wye Area?

They all seem to be 1hr away but yet they are all labelled as Bortle 4 but some local areas to Frenchay are B4 as well

If you have a favourite spot perhaps you could message me

 

I have a heater and some tea in my car so wont get cold

Any help greatly appreciated

There's the Brecon Beacons National Park about an hour and ten away, with some nice dark skies. Just north/north west of Abergavenny.

Thanks yes I just noticed that they are Bortle 4 on the LP Map but also nearer spots are Bortle 4 so just wondering if its worth going that extra distance......
