Widefield LRGB image of NGC1333 and surroundings from Pier 14 @Roboscopes (reduced Tak FSQ106, ASI 2600 MM Pro, unguided Paramount MX).

Area is on the boundary of Perseus, Taurus and Aries in the Perseus molecular cloud complex. NGC 1333 itself is above centre and slightly left with VdB 16 below towards the lower edge.

A mix of reflection nebulae, dust and gas clouds and dark nebulae.

NIce shot! These eternally cloudy skies make the idea of rented remote imaging very tempting.

Indeed. North Wales is regularly cloudy and this last few months since it got dark enough to open up the observatory have been very bad. So another source of data is very welcome. Plus Roboscopes are in the south of Spain giving a slightly different sky (I have imaged the Rho Ophiuchi region from there, something impossible from my home observatory).

It gives me plenty of data to play with when I am struggling in the UK, access to different kit that I would probably not buy myself, and the targets chosen by other members of the syndicate (this image came from a run submitted by another member).

It is not cheap, but then little in this hobby is, and it is one of a small number of vices!
