Solar wedge and 150L

Anyone successfully  used a solar wedge with a Bressner 150L  bit worried about the pretzel lenses behind the focuser

Overheating. So not prepared to try yet..

Refractors with Petzval lenses should never be used with solar wedges. As you mentioned, the rear element is close to the focuser drawer tube so is liable to overheat.
