Hi SGL,

I am practising on my Skywatcher 150mm reflector on plantary (only F5) but thought it had a bigger aperture so may get good images if I get a focal ratio of 10-15 maybe F20. I found out my collimation skills are not yet up to scratch, so after some time doing it, I think I am getting close...to good collimation.

Here is an image of Jupiter I got with my achromat 90mm F10 refractor, imaged with an Orion shortyt x2 Barlow, so this is at F20, with a colour ASI 462MC camera with a 1.25 inch U-V cut filter.

I tried auto balance in Photoshop but it keeps giving me a slight imbalance in the yellows when I save it in .jpg format.

Here it is, I am reasonably pleased for a 1st attempt on Jupiter.

Magnus
