I wanted to mount my SW az-gti to my TAL tripod as I don’t like the mount it comes with, so I’ve cobbled up from tinkercad a simple adapter to fill in where the original mount resides, this has fitted perfectly. A bolt dropped down inside the pier extension holds onto the adapter, then three large screws tighten into the sides holding it very securely.
