Most reasonable price star tracker for a canon dslr

Recommended Posts

Most reasonable price star tracker for a beginner to start shooting astrophotography,

I was looking at a full goto telescope celestron nexstar 4se or 6se? Would this be worthy of astrophotography?

Or is it best to get a star tracker ?

I have a couple of kit lenses and just purchased a 75mm 300mm. I've been looking at the  Samyang 14mm f/2.8 ED AS IF UMC - Canon EF Fit. It's a reasonable price.

In the bigger picture I would like a DSLR/Lens set up and a DSLR/telescope set up.. one step at a time though.

I understand this hobbie certainly isn't cheap and eBay do some good items etc.

My camera and lens set up would need to be more potable. Where as my telescope wouldn't need to be.

Many thanks your reading this and any advice and guidance would be appreciated

Regards 👍

I’ve got a star adventurer mini, it’s pretty good for DSLR lens combo but not much more. For mY money if I were to buy again I would just save a bit more for a heq5.

At least that’s the current plan, then look into scopes etc.

I’ve no clue on the Celestron models you mentioned but I’m sure someone with more experience will be by to chime in soon.
