ZWO asi1600mm for solar imaging

Hi there,

I am a newbie to solar imaging but have just gotten myself a Lunt 40.

I already own a ZWO asi1600mm pro camera.

My question is, do I need to cool the camera chip down prior to my avi capture ?

My apologies if this has been asked before but nothing comes up when I ask the question to the google oracle !

No.

It really makes no difference in short exposures used for solar / planetary work.
