Celestron neximage 5 as autoguider?

Has anyone used the 5 for auto guiding? and if you have, was it accurate?

I have just purchased a ZWO asi224mc colour camera which basically has made the 5 redundant, but it’s mentioned the 5 can be used as an auto guide camera. I have a Celestron 50mm star finder which I’ll convert for autoguiding with, so will it work?

I have one but have not yet used it. The software appears to be Windows only.

I have windows 10 so that’s fine, just need to find someone who’s actually used one as autoguider.
