webcam imaging newbie

can anyone help with the software programs that i will need to download onto my computer so that i can save the film images and do i need another program to stack them into photos ?

all help greatfully received do this dark art.

p.s. i have a philips spc900nc if that helps with anything

wxAstrocapture to capture the images (AVI)

Registax for aligning & stacking (planets/moon)

DeepSkyStacker for aligning & stacking (DSO's)
