Recommended Posts

I would like to capture a long exposure shot of the Iss tonight but i need a hand with the DSLR setting i would need to use.

I have a Canon 450d and i am planning on using the stock 18-55 lens

What ISO settings would be best for say a 30 second exposure ???

Cheers

Steve :)

Steve, for the 1930 odd pass I'd use ISO800, wide open 30seconds. Don't forget to turn off IS on the lens or that'll give you a lovely wavey line instead of a nice straight one.

Setup a few minutes early and take a test shot, see what colour the sky comes out.
