Centering In Maxim

Hi,

I have downloaded Maxim and had some fun with it. Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to get the "center scope" working.

I sync on a star so Maxim know the position and set the calibration going in auto. for some reason the scope moves way out (a lot more than the 2arcmin selected and after that I get the message that the star is no longer in the field of view.

The mount is an EQ6.

I have tried everything I can think of and I ran out of idea.

Has anyone experience this kind of issue before and what could be the problem.

The mount itself works great so I believe it is a software issue.
