Siril database

Hello

 

took some images tonight of messier 1. Came to photometric colour calibration in siril and when I type in the object and press find nothing happens? Each time the cursor spins but nothing ? 
 

could this be an issue with the online star database? 
 

or is it just my pc? I uninstalled, checked firewall permissions etc. nothing.

I've checked the SiriL forum and the online Simbad service is down.

That's it.

In addition, Siril doesn't incorporate neither install any database on your computer when installing.

Each time your need to plate solve an image (that's what happens in photometric colour calibration), Siril request information to Simbad. That's why you need an internet access...
