Rosette - using Split Complimentary technique

Actually quite pleased with this one...

 

Used AstroEd's Split Complimentary technique to recombine Ha, OIII and (false) SII, then did a little bit of Selective Colour to bring out the cyan a bit more.

Then used starnet++ to create starless version.

Cleaned up both Star Layer and starless, as much as possible. Brought out the colours on nebula image before remerging with reduced star layer.

General de-noise and cropping to remove the dodgy boundaries before a final saturation boost.

 

I quite like the fiery aspect.
