The Pinwheel galaxy

The weather is being very frustrating, it was forecast to be clear last night but there was high cloud, which became thicker and thicker and everything was covered by 20.00. The full moon didn't help so I thought I would have a try  at something in the North East, so the Pinwheel was worth a shot. However, I didn't take into account that after 12 minutes I was mostly capturing trees!! Anyway for better or worse this is 12 minutes of integration using the following:

Skywatcher Equinox 80mm

Zwo ASI294 MC Pro, 12 x 60 second captures, gain 120,  sensor at -10oC.

Cheers

Ian

I had another go at the pinwheel, even though the moon was still rather bright and there were still large banks of cloud. However, I managed to get 30 minutes in a gap in the clouds. (I also managed about 80 mins on the Bode galaxy). I also found a better place in the garden to avoid the trees! I think this is somewhat better than the image I took 2 days ago.
