DEC 12TH - SUNRISE OVER PLATO

I was lucky to have a 20 minute slot to rush out with the Altair 80 ED-R on the early evening, though only brief it was enjoyable before the cloud closed in again.  As well as Plato and its environs there was good terminator detail in the S Highlands. Single frame below taken with the Olympus E-M5 Mk11 at 7.27pm.

Very nice! The moon is at its best these days and high in the sky. Shame about the weather!

Yes lovely picture. Last night was due clear and at 7pm it was indeed, so I took the Intes out to cool. When I went out a bit later it was blanket cloud and stayed that way. Haven’t been out with anything but bins for 7-8 weeks now.
