Orion

Orion is finally coming around. I was able to sneak in an hour just before dawn on Orion which was pretty low to SE.

18 X 180sec and 10x30Sec for the core. Altair 533c, tamron 150-600, l-extreme filter. I'm sure I can improve on this with more data.

I like that a lot!

It's got an "old school" film camera warmth to it. 

I was out all last night and watched Orion rising and thought about getting some subs of M42. I decided to wait until the Moon is out of the way.

Thank you Paul! The dual narrowband filters are great for nights like these. I was able to gather some nice data on couple of other targets as well in spite of the full moon.
