Taken with a D7500 at ISO 800. 50mm f1.4 (stopped down to f2.8). Sky watcher Star Adventure Pro. 
 

10 x 2min lights, no calibration frames

Love the perspective in that.  It seems more compressed than the 50mm would suggest. 👏

It is Paul,

The foreground shot of Pen y fan was taken during the ‘blue hour’ with the actually tracked shots of MW being a few degrees to the west and slightly higher. Both images were then merged using Ps Sky Replacement Tool. 
 

Had I attempted to capture the MW rise above the mountain range, the image would have suffered from LP from large towns to the rear of foreground.
