Oxidation in old PST40

Hello,
I would like to ask a question that is related to the old PST 40.
Units with 15 years old, will all have the problem of oxidation to one degree or another, or does this depend on the way that has been taken care of?
That is to say, the oxidation occurs with certainty in all the PST 40 of that old, or even the current ones?
How many years does it take to present this problem?
sincerely.
