Have I wasted my money on a imaculate Nikon D200 DSLR

I have just got a D200 from flea-bay, I have just read that ,a good chance I  wasted  £100 on in  it due to flaws in the CMOS and firmware. Now is a D5100 in the same league?

I suppose at this rate the mobile  phone will be better on the end of my scope.

Have had a couple of cheap cameras from them, you get a warranty.
