Permanent Ligh Pollution Filter....

Since I live in a city with bortle scale 8-9 I need to use of a light pollution filter to image.

My scope is a Redcat51 and my camera is the Zwo Asi2600Mc.

I have a filter holder to use my L extreme filter when I want to do narrowband.

But for broadband targets I need a light pollution filter.

I was thinking to install permanently a light pollution filter on the scope/imaging train and leave it there.

That means that if I want to use the L extreme I will use it alongside with the light pollution filter.

Can this work? Or am I going to loose a lot of detail?

Thank you,

Nikolas.
