Peak District observing Sites

In the April S@N issue there was an article about where to observe under dark skies in the UK. Two of these were in the Peak district at Parsley Hey and Minninglow.....not far from the old Peak Star Party location. So today, the wife and I took a drive out, one, to get out of the house and 2, to recce these sites. They are about 1hr 20mins from us. I have to say, that I was quite impressed with both. At Parsley Hey, I was told that it used by a lot of astronomers on a regular basis. I only saw it in daylight, does anyone use these sites? and what's your opinion of them
