Out again quickly last night. I’m finding it is just nice to have the little Telementor out for a while to see what is visible, have a little observing session and take a few images for the record.

The Moon was at 97.6% illuminated last night, but there was still some interesting terminator detail to be had. Bailly again looked excellent, fully illuminated now, this time with Pingré alongside it but with deeper shadows lining it. Next to Grimaldi I spotted Riccioli which I enjoyed, deep shadows defining it well.

Whilst the Telementor does have chromatic abberation, visually it is quite well controlled and otherwise the optics are well figured and of high quality. A fun scope to use!
