This is my first proper attempt at a DSO. I've been imaging the planets, moon and sun for years and the odd DSO but only ever with about 30 mins of data. I have decided to try and get some proper images using a decent amount of total exposure times this year. I live in a very light polluted part of the UK with Bortle 5/6 sky. Thought I would try with something easy first! this is M3 from 90 45s exposures, taken with a modded Canon 600d through a 150pds. Very happy with the result and glad to have got NGC5263 up in the right top corner as well. Will have to try for a Galaxy next!
