astro mick
Hi. Last night was the first really clear night for sometime here on the Coast.I opted for the lovely Galaxy M101 in Ursa Major,as it was nice and high in the sky. Using my dual rig i took LRGB & Ha images. The L & Ha were taken with an Altair Astro 102mm AT f7 using an Atik 314L+ mono ccd. 1.5hrs each The RGB were taken with my WO Zenithstar 61 F5.9 an an Atik 314E. 1hr each. Fully calibrated using Bias,Darks and Flats. Processed in Photo-shop. Cheers. Mick. Edited April 4, 2021 by astro mick
Clarkey
Nice detail. I am halfway through my M101 just waiting for a night to complete the Ha. If it looks as good as this one I'll be happy. Perhaps I need a dual rig too. (n+1 rule applies)😁
