Canon DC Supply

Is there DIY available for attaching a regulated Voltage supply to the Canon 1000D. I did my Olympus with a dummy battery, to which the supply cable was soldered.

I made mine by buying a generic (cheap) battery from ebay removing the cells (750mA not the 1200 advertised on eBay) and connecting to a Regulator module... 7.5V output was enough for the camera to show a battery "half full" 7,4V show battery low... leave the T terminal inthe battery disconnected.

The camera pulls about 250mA max I have used 1.5A regulators becuase I have a few hanging around...
