The product of two clear nights.

Thursday and Friday night were both clear here and I ended up doing all nighters.

Quite a collection of targets. All these were a simple format lots of 30 sec subs, 250 PDS, NEQ6 Pro (modded then de-modded), ASI178MC and Optolong L Pro Filter. There is an issue with the primary mirror, work in progress and for another thread. So bloated stars and in some of these there is coma because I ended up collimating on the hoof due to mirror flop and ended up off axis. This camera doesn't normally see this scopes peripheral field.

Stacked in DSS and tortured in PS. All are uncropped!

In no particular order and for no particular reason, I give you:

M51, 98 x 30 sec

M57, 100 x 30 sec. Over cooked it to bring out the outer halo. I found it but it was too much. Didn't back it off far enough!

M66, pleased with it because I could have done with longer subs, more data. 50 x 30 sec

A cute little group of 4 galaxies in Coma Berenices, NGC's 4169, 4170, 4174, 4175. Yup, needs heaps more data!

M97, stars showing coma for reason given above. That was a slow moving satellite, showing on  3 of the 48 x 30 sec subs.

Last but not least, M13. 90 x 30 sec.  Coma and other problems but still happy with it.

I found another image from Thursday night, 3C 273, I know, nothing exciting but I have plans to go deep on this subject next time and eek out the jet. I almost convinced myself I'd caught the brightest part of the jet when I stretched this to oblivion. Most likely just a chance alignment in noise! The annotation tool put the tick just a few degrees clockwise from where the jet would be if visible.

There is a very faint QSO just above the bright star to the right of and just below 3C273. I think it's way beyond my reach with any equipment I'll ever own!

48 x 30 sec
