I just got a Skywatcher NEQ6 Pro mount with SynScan handcontroller. The original RJ-11 to RS-232 cable for connecting SynScan directly to PC is missing. I need a replacemen for this and wonder if there is a RJ-11 to USB replacement? If so is a new driver necessary to get it working?

Thanks. Unfortunately buying items from EU in the UK after Brexit is made next to impossible. I'll have to search for something similar. BWT is it possible to control mount with Stellarium or other guiding software directly from PC with a RS-232 to USB cable? Drivers needed?

If you're in the EU then have a look here: https://www.astroshop.eu/?q=EQDIR

You will need to install ASCOM drivers and EQMOD to control the mount from a laptop or PC. If you do a search of the forum there are plenty of threads about this and what's required. ;)
