Well this is the shortest image I have done I added 1 hour of HA to the 30 minutes of rgb from my canon 40D

That's a cracker. Perhaps the background is a tad blue/cyan - tbh I have the same problem when I try to combine RGB and Ha, I'm not sure what the answer is.

Dave, dont forget in PS you can alter the colour of individual colours, and you can also alter highlights and shadows colour. So if your stars are a bit too blue, simply select white as the target colour, and wind the cyan down a little, etc. Its a very quick job and can tone un-natural looking colours down very effectively.
