Reprocessing An Old Friend

Recommended Posts

The most successful astroimaging session of my life at that point, this was taken in Big Bend National Park in October 2018 in the darkest skies I've ever seen. I was digging through my back catalogue and said "Huh, I bet I can process that a lot better now". And it only took me an hour or so, too.  Astro Pixel Processor -- I am saying.

You can look in my astrobin for the old image, which had a far harsher contrast in the nebulae and clipped the background egregiously to black.
