EQ3-2 Deluxe mount question

Hi folks

Quick question - does anyone know if the EQ3-2 deluxe mount will accept dovetail bars?

There are two versions of this mount (at least!), one does the other doesn't. The earlier ones (like mine) had a fixed bar on the mount head with two holes , one at either end for the attachment of tube rings. The later type will take a dovetail bar but be aware that there are still stocks of the earlier one around from what I understand.
