How many dew control bands?

I am going to get some dew control bands for christmas (I hope). I use a 150mm Newtonian and a 6" SCT when imaging at the moment.

How many bands for each scope and where are they fitted?

I am guessing at least one on the Newt at the primary mirrir end and one for the SCT at the objective end.

On the newt, do I need a further band in the vicinity of the secondary and if so, how does this one fit?

On the SCT do I need a second at the mirror end?
