Jupiter And Saturn In Twilight

4.30pm Tuesday - spotted them low, west of south.  Probably won't see much more of them later this month as they are approaching trees, so I grabbed this opportunity with the ED80 Apo.

They are about 3/4 deg apart, so I used x55 and 1.5deg - a fine sight - Jupiter showing two faint belts, also three moons, and Saturn easily in the same FOV of course with its shadow on the open rings.

15 minutes later - over!  Trees in the way.  A nice warm-up for later, hopefully!

Doug.
