Another eyepiece enquire!!!

A lot of these questions I know but it is a fairly personal, not to mention, complicated subject!!

Like every one else I started off with the usual 10/25/Barlow set but before long I got a couple of x-cels including a 9. 12.5 and 3x Barlow. As well as 8-24mm zoom hyperon go with my 8"dob.

Now just to be clear-i am not saying a bad word against the x-cels and happy to keep hold of them if people recommend I do so.  However I am just about to upgrade to A 12" dob and so want a set of ep's that will do it justice. 

I'm looking to spend about £150-£200 per ep. I enjoy looking at planets and the moon but mainly I enjoy tracking down dso's (mainly galaxies). 

Just wondering if anyone can offer any recommendations on not only which ep's to get but also what range of sizes other people have and what sort of "gaping" would work best.
