Attaching Skywatcher Star Adventurer to Horizon 8115 tripod?

Has anyone done this? If so, how?

Sorry, I'm  very new to this.

You need to remove the mount head from the tripod by unscrewing it anticlockwise. Once you have done that the central bolt will be exposed. I believe that the tripod in question only has a 1/4" bolt so you will have to buy a 1/4" to 3/8" adaptor and then you will be able to screw the star adventurer to your tripod.

Thank you! Interestingly, the instructions I got with the star adventurer pro pack claim that such an adaptor is included, but it seems to be missing.

Are you sure it's not already fitted ?
