After a few years absence from Imaging I've returned to the fold with a new observing passion, naturally I wasn't going to keep life so simple and part of the passion is exploring possible alternatives. 

I've never been excited about learning the sky via a planisphere so decided on making my own mount having seen the fabulous Rowan Az mount and APM binoculars at the IAS earlier this year. 

It's a poor mans attempt you could say, but it's all mine.
