Movement of comet NEOWISE - Timelapse

Recommended Posts

After shooting C/2020 F3 NEOWISE for a little over an hour last night I ended up with a nice timelapse showing the comet's movement relative to background stars. It's shot with a Nikon D3300, Evostar 72 and an OVL field flattener mounted on my star adventurer mount. The entire timelapse spans about 1 hour and 10 minutes.

I'm very surprised with how fast it's moving. Just another reason to take every opportunity of observing it!

Clear skies!
