Long Exposure Frames

Howdy,

I'm looking for a bit of help here.

I have started on the road to LX imaging and have bought a SC1 Toucam.

Last night I used it for the 1st time and shot some LX avi's of M42. I am having problems dealing with the avi's. I can see in registax the individual frames and have processed it there as a 1st attemp but I think that there is a bit more in them if only I could get the frames into DSS.

Now the question, how do I save the individual frames of the avi as, say, individual jpg's so that I cn get them into DSS?

I have only one short session so far, because here we didn't have clear night for a month, so I'm not experiensed one... wxAstro gives possibility to save the images in FITS format rahtner than in AVI. FITS can be is directly read in DSS
