Moon 05-01-09 1000D through a SW EQ-66 with a knackered crayford...

To continue with my efforts to learn to love luna I have decide to "snap" it as often as possible... I decide to dig out the Equinoxe-66 with the damgaed crayford and fit it to the 1000D as the basis of a grab and go luna imaging setup...the crayford is ok-ish ( f a bit notchy) until you lock it of when it shifts focus ... so had to try and manage without it...

So it looks like the knackered "66" will be ok for luna...

Those are very nice Billy. Most folk go for high mag when imaging the moon. Its nice to see a bit WF on it.
