Orion GoTo 150mm reflector

I cannot get Stellarium to slew my scope.  The program indicates the scope is connected , but it will not move my scope.  Any recommendations?

It would be helpful to know which mount, how the mount/handset are connected to the computer, which version of Stellarium, are you using the internal drivers or ascom and anything else you might think of. Don't leave anything out, even the least significant piece of info might help.

The mount is called an Altazimuth mount with a SynScan hand controller.  It is connected to my computer with a serial cord.  My version of Stellarium  is the latest one - 0.20 -.  I don't know about drivers.  The Stellarium software indicates the scope is connected; but when I try to slew to a chosen object the scope doesn't move.  I connect the SynScan to the mount, align the scope,  connect RJ11 connector of the serial cable to the SynScan and the other end to a USB jack on my computer.

In Stellarium did you select "Skywatcher v3 or later" or Skywatcher AZ-GOTO" as the mount type and selected the correct com port ? What type of adapter do you for the serial data cable or does it incorporate a usb plug ?

Skywatcher V3 or later.

The mount is az-goto so that should be the one to select.

Any idea why it won't slew my scope?

Only one person has respond to my inquiry and they could not help me.  Anyone else willing to try and help?
