Orion above Hoogeveen the Netherlands. Made with a simple Canon SX110, exposure time 15 sec, the max it can do.

Nice - light pollution looks pretty favourable.

Dear Adam of course I do not mind! Even in your picture one can actually see the m42 nebula. The sky here is most of the time quite black. Main problem here are the many lampposts. They give me a lot of problems with viewing since they blind me every time I look away from the scope.
