Massive burn-up at approx 17:00 to 17:30 tonight, viewed from west coast scotland. Has anyone else seen this or do you have any info about it?

I'm on the west coast but did not see anything unfortunately.

Suggest you report observation to BAA or SPA as they collect info on meteors.

Quadrantids meteor shower is due tonight so It may be related.

Well here's the thing John.

I was out on an observing session yesterday with a couple of friends.

I went to the car to get something and the interior light came on so i was messing about with it trying to turn it off.

When......

The next thing my two friends started shouting about this green fireball and really rubbing it in because i MISSED it..... :crybaby:
