Presumably you will have a chunk of dovetail sticking out skyward on the the underside of the OTA...... if you have a Vixen profiled one....

use one of these....https://www.firstlightoptics.com/counterweights/baader-dovetail-bar-levelling-counterweight.html

OR...... be creative and  alternatively use your guiding scope mounted to this  part of the dovetail.

I have a metal (Meade  8"SCT ) dewshield as well, which by itself is a fair unit in terms of mass.
