Dolomiti Starscape

Just spent a week skiing in the Dolomites at Arabba.       Whilst the UK was been battered and drenched,   I had  six out of seven clear nights  !!!  

Ventured out one evening and set up my Canon RX-7  compact  on a snow slope just out of town.    

Difficult to judge exposures as the snow tends to reflect any available light pollution.  What looks like a dark mountainside is anything but that  with a 30 sec shot  at F1.8.
