New CMOS cameras from Moravian Instruments

Looks like a new range of CMOS cameras has been released by Moravian Instruments.

Am I reading that right......   cooled mono CMOS  with internal filter wheel  for about a 1000 'ish  Euros ??  ....

When I see the name Moravian I think top end quality.    Clearly, I am delirious.....

Somehow I don't see them be priced at 1000e.

I also don't like the fact that largest of sensors used is 17mm diagonal.

Well, I stand corrected - cheaper models are indeed around 1000e mark - but that is for sensors up to 11mm diagonal.

The larger sensor is actually coming in at $1500, so however that translates to pounds. Also they have explicitly stated that larger sensors are going to be released.  It might actually be quite good with 1.8e read noise. Full well is very low though so you are limited in how much that can be reduced by increasing gain.
