Star Gazers Event Ideas - For a Project

Hello, I'm not too sure how to use this forum, and I'm not sure if I'm even doing it right, but I have a project on star gazers where I have to create a convention, fit with events, lectures, lecturers, market stands, etc. and I'm not too sure much about star gazing, so I was wondering if any of you could help me and give me some ideas on what your ideal Star Gazers Convention would be.
