Vesta and Pegasus.

Remote wifi set up - laptop inside - stick pc outside - c11 on g11 - hyperstar - asi178mm - pc focus control.  8 sec frames f 1.9.  A chilly evening kicked off great with live view of meteor under Polaris during mount alignment.  Came streaking across Polemaster cam east to west.  The seeing was quite awful yesterday for such a dark night FWHM 6 to 6.5. Focus was challenge but hey I was set up. 

Viewed vesta and took 8 sec image then came back 30 min later to get distance asteroid traveled.  Below is 30 min of vesta travel. 

Viewed Pegasus cluster and grabbed 8 sec frames rgb.  Was quite dazzling with poor seeing when I bumped up exposure.  Live stacked 20 frames each channel in sharpcap.  Has good number of little blue stars around was glad to see I captured some.  Really like astronomik deep sky filters. Also viewed ngc 1600 and other small targets, before fogging up.

Wish was better system to swap filters on hyperstar.  Right now I use built in magnetic slide so have to swap filters one at a time.  This is a pain because have dew shield on that snugs the usb cam cord under.  So to change filters I carefully slide off dew shield, carefully slide out filter, uncrew used filter, screw in new filter, carefully replace everything, then its back inside in warmth to re-focus remote view / image again.  Why most nights I mostly stick with one filter.
