SGPro Meridian flip fail

KyleStoke

Recommended Posts

Hi

Can anyone help with this, basically it looks like after a meridian flip the telescope will not perform the final slew due to it being below the horizon. The slew was centred on Gam Cyg so 100% was not below the horizon, the scope had already plate solved in the correct part of the sky.

This is the relevant section of the log, Anyone any Ideas?

Hi Julian

Yeah I saw that it was 100% not below the horizon, the scope was actually pointing at the target and had plate solved in the correct place. Obviously there is a conflict of some type there but no idea what it is

Hello KyleStoke

Maybe you could contact the SGP GROUP ? I do not recognize your mount "stcaSiTech" which mount are you using ? since according to your profile you should have an HEQ5..

Cheers

Ok KyleStoke, as you wish, I did find an interesting thread where a user of an MESU 200 Mount + SITECH DRIVER have had same issue and he was able to folve it.. was wondering if you also have an MESU mount ?  was only wondeing is your "stcaSiTech"  is the same as the driver used by the thread owner in SGP FORUM..

Anyway, good luck

Martin
