Has anyone used one of these for guiding?

Hi All,

I came across these a while ago (http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p225_Massive-Micrometer-Device-for-Guide-Scopes--Cameras-----.html) and thought it looked like a class piece of kit.

Has anyone got any experience in using these? It would be ideal (I would think) to be able to mount 2 next to each other, and then guide with either scope.

Also, might be alot easier than guidescope rings.

Any thoughts?

I've heard good things about them, but they're very expensive

It looks good, I had a wee plan to make something similar for my dual set up but havn't got round to it yet. I may be wrong but guide rings look very fiddley to use to me.......

They aren't that bad to be honest. A bit fiddly, but not much.

My problem is I want to be able to offset both scopes - depending on which I am guiding through.

Does anyone know whether this will work as well?

Theres also the Tau-Ceti X-Y finder, being sold by Hutech. A bit more pricey though....
