hi all,

here's a little image from couple of weeks ago i shot from my usual observing site at the côte d'azur observatory in the south of france.

that's the galaxy cluster abell 2151 in hercules.

i imaged it with my 8" newtonian from skywatcher.

here are the details :

mount skywatcher eq6r

imaging cam: asi1600mm cooled at -15c

guiding cam: asi290mm on zwo OAG

coma corrector TSGPU

zwo filters LRGB

L: 48x180sec=2h24

RGB:3X20X180sec=1h per colour layer

still have a few issues to sort regarding the coma corrector but overall happy with the result.

here is the link to the full res version: https://astrob.in/412992/0/

clear skies everyone

Great wide field !- I love seeing these really distant guys and there are so many here!- Often they just crop up next to your primary image target which is always so compelling in terms of impressing on us the enormity of what we image - Tony.
